Her heart pounding. Temples pulsing. She runs for fear of her life. A strange figure of darkness closing in on her. Running…. running….running. Smack! She topples to the ground in a heap. The strange figure behind her vanishes. Like it were never there. Gasping for breath she remains still. Not taking any chances of losing her life. The cold wind gives her chills.
After long punishing hours of laying on the cold, soggy ground, she cries out for help. All she hears is the rustling of leaves being swept away by the chilling wind. Again she cries out in agony. Sobbing loudly in the night. No one hears her. No one is around to hear her. Suddenly, another figure emerges from the thin air. But this isn’t the dark figure who tore through the night to destroy her. This figure was shining brightly. As it approaches her it kneels down and whispers so sweetly,” It’s okay. I’m hear.”
Gently he picks her up and takes off soaring up to the sky. And yet, as the young girl closes her weak, heavy eyes, she can still feel the angel hugging her close. Floating away… away… away….in peace forever.

Wow – quite a strong picture. The type that sticks with you. Very real somehow, though strange.
Thanks!
