I thought it strange; it was of course,
The thing just didn’t look quite right,
But I was small and not too bright.
Had leathery skin from head to toe,
But way back then I didn’t know,
That horses [...]
This poem is based on an actual dream that I had.
I had a dream the other day,
Its vision will not go away,
About some people dressed in gowns,
(I know how strange this story sounds.)
Each gown was separate from the rest,
With different colours they were blest,
And everyone had points of view,
And revelations that were new.
They studied scripture, [...]
I work part-time as a funeral attendant. Hopefully that explains the motive for this writing. Just trying to put a little humour into a serious subject.
Well, here I am.
I never expected it to happen this soon,
but I passed away last weekend.
Stupid horse,
I told them I didn’t like horses,
too much power for an animal that gets [...]
Even when it’s severe
We’ll still persevere
For the one whom we revere
To His Word it pays to adhere
Thence to know He’s sincere

I went for a walk, as I did each morn,
I picked up the mail which was always the norm,
A letter, a bill and two lousy flyers,
One for insurance and one selling tires.
Nothing seemed special, all was the same,
I looked a bit closer and saw something strange,
A black and white envelope there in the rack,
I scooped [...]
You are like the sun rising amidst the fog
You are like the flame of passion that lies within my heart
Your simple glance is like droplets of love caressing my soul
Your delicate touch entices my desire for you
You give new meaning to what unconditional love is, and from this i give you my heart forever

I want to fly high,
in the sky.
So I spread my wings,
with my eyes blink.
I dream of the Utopia.
with certain hysteria.
I took off high,
& leave all behind.
Suddenly things went wrong,
& among the throng.
I fell & hit the ground,
& people gather around.
I cried so loud ,
But my budy consoles me out.
He encourages me to fly again,
to learn [...]
Walking by a candy shop,
The sight of gumdrops made me stop,
And with a penny in my hand,
I entered into Candyland.
The smell of chocolate was distinct,
And then a sight caused me to blink,
As if in answer to my prayers,
I saw a million chocolate bears.
Some were dark and some were light,
And some were very, very white,
Some were [...]
I caught a turtle and a frog,
And then I tried to catch a hog,
But it would fight and make a squeal,
I didn’t know how it would feel.
I thought that it would play with me,
But it just wanted to be free,
To roll around in sloppy mud,
I loved this pig; I called it Bud.
Though it was just [...]
We meet again
years after years, you always seem to find
your way back to me despite this busy life
no concern of time, all we really mind
is how we’ve been and how we strive
With unspoken words an agreement was made
to you I express what was brought by fate
to you I listen, learn your pains and woes
shared [...]
