The time runs by,

The days go by,

But your words of love,

Remain by heart.

Like sun’s bright light,

Like the new moon night,

The way you glow,

Just sets you apart.

Your sereneful eyes,

Your colourful smiles,

You are god’s own soul,

His work of art.

I knew the moment,

That minute we spent,

If you won’t be mine,

My life won’t start..!

Dreamland

I dream of living in a cottage right by the woods with a man who is

healthy, kind, sincere – a little bit old fashioned – and genuinely

in love with me, as I am with him.

We have cats and dogs,

may possibly take in foster children to help them get on their feet.

He’s a poet also and we both write and read each other’s poetry all the time.

The property we live on is scenic and beautiful with little animals,

wild flowers, trees and brooks and fresh outdoor air.

We both live off the incomes of our artwork and

have nothing to do with professional or business life.

We befriend people in the community,

where there is a quaint town with all kinds of cute little stores and restaurants.

We read our poems in the cultural center and help and heal people

through our artwork, consoling them, helping them to see,

and to create their own art – feeding their souls with love, support and knowledge.

We live quietly, without too much technology,

and our relationship is honest, unconditional and trusting.

The prince and the princess, loving life, reading like a fairy tale.

In life, all is possible. I am open-minded that way.

When the doors close,

we can move on to something just as good.

we share a connection
my little sister
with sibling tension

take my hand
i will guide you through life
hold your head up
and take away your strife

when your down
i’ll wipe away your tears
protect your wellbeing
and destroy your fears

even when we’re apart

Stolen Perfection

Dancing in a ballroom filled with emptiness
I’m clinging onto nothingness
Waving my arms around in madness
What else can I do?

Replaying those sweet memories
Ones filled with calmness and serenity
I’ll have to let go eventually
What else can I do?

When the world gives you perfection, wrapped up in all that’s good and right
When the world gives you perfection and then crushes it before your eyes

Deluding my sub-conscious with lies
To avoid this emotional and timely demise
I was never good at goodbyes.
But this is all I can do.

You were everything and hope
When I was walking on a tightrope
When I was struggling to cope
Now what can I do?

When the world gives you perfection, a flawless wonder of sunshine so bright.
When the world gives you perfection and then crushes it before your eyes.

I’ve fallen to my knees at last
Time to accept my pain filled past
All the shadows that it has cast
There’s nothing I can do.

Moving forward into the light
Resisting the urge to fight
Making it through the day and night
It’s all I can do.

Sweet Riley

Sweet Riley

Sweet Riley with that daisy in her hair

The Parisian night’s light illuminates her perfection

With a face which time would never dare alter

Her freckles like sand to her ocean blue eyes

Erupting with bliss

A timid kiss

Sends me back to my deepest

Most heartfelt

Childhood crush

A smile that could kill even the mightiest of men

Dimples-

crevices on the moon reflecting off the Seine

We’re from the same place,

yet here

We are aliens

The feeling that overwhelms me is

As foreign as the place I am in

On that 14^th day, we took our separate paths

Mutual

The feeling was

Between her and I

I think about it to this day

Sweet Riley with that Daisy in her hair

A being of elegance and charm

With a face that could never escape my thoughts

THE MOON

THE MOON
It was the last time of night,
When the moon said me good night
“I’m going to sleep, because
I’m falling in sleep”
I smiled on hearing and
Said with daring;
“Certain I’m you won’t come,
He who goes never returns’’
He stopped on hearing,
Replied with searing:
“If I promise you never fulfill
It won’t be done;
Moon I’m no human I’m,
So how it would be done”

Last night!
When I saw you with twinkling eyes,
You were singing with very inspiring voice,
When I came close
& close and close
Then I heard you,
And lost in deep thoughts…
You were praising, praising
And praising & praising
I smiled with spark,
& holdup my heart,
You were staring, staring
& staring and staring,
I was breathing high,
With much more sigh
You led down with holding mine hand in you hand,
I sighed and you said;
“Would you be valentine of mine?”

To Love Someone (A Sonnet)

To love someone, to truly care
To worship every lock of their hair
To see those eyes and pure skin, feel deep emotions stir within
To have, to hold, love and embrace, feel your respect will not be misplaced
To feel the joy you have with each other
To be as one, now you’re are lovers
To be loyal to each other, whatever life’s travails
To be as flowers in full bloom, as your love prevails
To see the rising sun on each beautiful day
To let Valentine and Cupid have their way
To allow them both to have their say
To live life to the full, come what may
To let romance blossom from now to ever after
To love now and always your lives filled with laughter

your thorns
Let me comfort you softly

So soulful your petals
So gently you rise
Most beautiful woman
With brown Angel eyes

Mysterious Rose, so caring

So real is your beauty
So caring your heart
Wanting you so badly
Tears me apart

Mysterious Rose, so fragile
