Each day is getting harder
and it’s easier to sin.
I can’t keep my mind straight.
I can’t seem to win.
I’m doing things illegal
and i’ve turned into a liar.
Everything is different
and I’m falling in the fire.
I can’t seem to stop
everything I’ve done.
There is no where to hide;
No where to run.
I’ve fallen with the world
and all of its desire.
I’ve ruined my life,
and I’m falling in the
Fire.

About Heart 4 poetry
I love writing. It has been my passion for years. I started writing when I was only eight. I had my first poem published at ten through a poetry contest. Poetry is a major part of my life. I can write my life down in a simple page of poetry. I have not yet been recognized for my writing talent, but I hope to publish many poems and books in the near future.( I am now 16 and still writing)Subscribe

Thank your for you wonderful comments. I wrote this two years ago in the seventh grade as I was thinking about how difficult the teenage years seem. I noticed that most teens are already into drugs and illegal activities and how they explained that the more they convince themselves that it is okay, the easier it is to do the things they were. Some of these teens have been sent off the foster homes and Juvenile Hall. This poem is a representation of how easy it can be to get caught up in the sin of the world and how hard it is to get out. Again, thank you for your great comments. They are much appreciated.
God Bless you!
