Giving The Chase

Dog chases cat, and the cat chases mouse,
All through the yard and all through the house,
Each has their calling and each has their place,
Whether it’s running or giving the chase.

We are no different in all that we do,
We have a purpose, though some never knew,
We have a calling and we have a place,
Whether it’s running or giving the chase.

Some are the runners and some give the chase,
All have their purpose, and there’s no disgrace,
Each one is different and beat their own drum,
There is a reason for what they’ve become.

Be not discouraged at what you can do,
It’s not for others, it’s special for you,
You have a calling and you have a place,
Whether it’s running or giving the chase.
