You feel like you’re in a funk
You spend nights,
Lying awake in the dead of night,
You look into the depths of the night sky.
You spend days,
Going about your routine,
As though nothing will please you,
You feel like you’ve done everything to find it,
You think it’s been hiding from you,
But you’re just blinded by everything else
All the other complications in this world
You finally REALIZE you’re loaded with it
It’s right in front of you,
You just have to reach out and grab it.
You learned today
That you’re HAPPINESS will be found,
When you’re not looking for it
