Lean into me,
when your heart needs a break.
Lean into me,
when no more can you take.
Lean into me,
because this i can see,
that you and I,
were meant to fly free.
Lean into me and this you’ll see.
you gave me some peace,
may i share some with you?
You gave me your heart,
not knowing at the start,
that you and I,
were meant to fly.
If all is too much and all is too new,
just lean into me like I leaned into you.

Many times we do need a sturdy prop or shoulder to bolster our feelings; however, we must carefully choose.

Yes you definitely have that right Tom!
I wrote this when I was half asleep. I’m not sure why, but I woke up at 3 am and wrote two poems (vaguely remembered doing so) and this was one of them. It’s so strange because it happened again the other day - I was dreaming or something and heard words that I was saying about God giving me direction - just follow the son - I woke up and wrote it. (also at 3 am!)
