Spring
Nature will perform
Its yearly thing
When she opens
The door
To a blissful spring.
Cold is replaced
With crowns of gold
As daffodils
Arise from their sleep and unfold
Sounding golden trumpets
Ending winter’s deep cold.
Birds appear from out the blue
Singing sweet tunes
At early morn’
That sounds so grand
Ending winters grip
Throughout the land.
