When I leave this life before you do

Do as I please, I ask of you

Let them know you love me

Let them know you’re mine

While that may not have happened in this lifetime

Then that would put my heart at peace

Let go of pains and heartaches

That secrecy brought me so 

In the final resting place

The what-ifs and must-have-beens

They all with me will go

And one day when memory fails you

Please look up in the sky

I am the cloud above you

The star that shines so bright

I am the sun welcoming your day

And the same one kissing you good night
