Why do we ponder for things unknown? why do we worry of people that are gone, witches and warlocks and psychic’s galore think they have answer’s but still are unsure.
if your heart seek’s answer’s and your mind’s eye is mess, think in your own spirit for things you request.
seek not of other’s for answer’s too [...]

I weave for you, again,
No “sillysong”….
Of sunsets in the WEST-
Or……drifting sky……
Or TWILIGHT HOURS, from forgotten days-
or how the PRAIRIE wind…..goes singing by!
I will not pause an hour again to build
A castle….in the far dim land of DREAM-
Or how the wind flows ever whispering by-
Or bright with GOLDEN LEAVES
THE OLD TREES LEAN!
I think there is an [...]

It was a cld fall day-
In early morning-
Even the far off clouds
Seemed half asleep-
The endless plains reach on-
Nor know the dawning-
WORDS ON THE SKY-
WHO TAKES CARE OF MY SHEEP?
Who looks after the Fold?
Why did God MAKE THEM?
to seek for HOME, within
A heartless world?
The lonely wind blowns on–
Nor waits to answer
While winter comes-
With withered leaves underled-
Come [...]

I never see John anymore-
The yeras have come between-
He left for Minnesota
In the fall of Seventeen-
An’ then we both got married,
An’ the years have skipped away-
Since we were little boys at Home
A Fiddleing “Nellie Gray”!
The wind was blowing the prairie grass-
Both of us boys were poor-
And PA said “JONNIE WILL NEVER COME BACK
TO THE “Old [...]

YOU MAY SNEER AN HOLLAR ABOUT THIS SONG;
And try to “give me a BAD TIME.”
But to me its fair as a summer day,
Down MELODY LANE to the far away,
And the paths to the Olden Time!
Out of the GOLD of the fading west,
On strings of the slanting rain;
ANGEL….bring me another song,
On the slanting strings of the [...]

“U”, gone astray.
Without the contemplation of my endurance.
Endless tears gush, yet, strong to conceal from the world.
Worse dawn and unkind dust, but still, memories are at its finest.
Staying alone, want to shriek and sob what would I have to do, flipside the worst?
Life, isn’t a bliss without you, waiting in wish, like I do?
Hope seems [...]

I catch your eye from across the arena
It isn’t a look to tell you that I love you
It’s to tell you to live, to tell you the torch is up
The bull will turn away from me and charge you
By the time I finish my next breath
You’re backwards in the air: he’s thrown you over
And you [...]

It rang up into the hills
A feeling of resignation slowed me down
Entrusted with the torch till the end of the course
The cry from the swell of bystanders broke when I fell
Like the lie echoing down through time
Apollo’s mask masked us, a face receding eternally
A repetitive line of reflection, false distance
Like the false distance between death [...]

Silver moons .
Mirrors a flatware spoon for gravity.
Handful of gold luster to the heart.
Form occurs facilely to rich flavor.
Time’s silvered hair photographed
coins and empty pockets of stain.
Behold the willow’s corrosion brightness
to the heart crying leafless browns.
Pertaining to gold, icons of rose
floors amber light of stars.
Pigment glass.
Mind’s of sanity.
Informal dress code of decay.
Offensive verbal wing’s of [...]

the empty box stands open
she contemplates each item
scattered on the floor
the dusty floor where she kneels
examining each one carefully
remembering how in years past
things had gotten put away
this and that
little pieces of her
some went quietly
some kicking and screaming
but each in their time
locked away
hidden
risking it all in madness
not so long ago
in a storm of fire
she ripped [...]
