Underneath the pain
In a Country by your side
Underneath the suffering
That so many sleep to hide
Underneath the tremors
There’s no Mother for a child
Underneath the rubble
Is what’s left of broken smiles
Underneath the bridge
Is a man without a home
Underneath the moonlight
There’s a child who cries alone
Underneath the remnants
Children played without a fear
Underneath the blanket
An infant clings to life [...]

If women rule the world
There will be no pride
Love will have a meaning
And men will have a guide
If women rule the world
There will be no ego
Humanity will have a meaning
And men will learn to let go
If women rule the world
There will be no greed
Virtue will have a meaning
And men will meet their need
If women rule [...]

Watching through her
own little window.
She’s unseen and unheard.
Her world is a pool of
thoughts and ideas
but no one wants to
hear them.
She has visions that
could change the world.
But she’s too afraid to
speak out. She knows they
will not listen or care.
So she keeps her dreams
of a better world locked
in her heart.
And every now and then
she peers through
her distant [...]

Can you hear my voice calling in the night
Do you see the tears I cry till the morning’s light
I long to tell you all that is in my heart
Yet I fear I don’t know where to start
And so I sit back as you walk on by
Never saying a word or even try
I watch you walk [...]

I give a damn-
Said the wizoned old man-
And he feels damn good today-
For he says “THEY ARE KILLING
THEMSELVES OFF NOW”-
As the MOMBERS ROLLED AWAY!
They SURE LIKE ME!
Said the wizened old man-
And he took a little snooze-
Then he drank some wine-
For he felt just fine-
And he drank some damn good BOOZE.
Then the smoke goes higher-
An they [...]

The all say a FRIEND IS GONE!
And everyone seems to care!
Since CAL has left, and stays no more,
In the “yellow-dog-house” there!
They tell and tell how poor CAL died!
Went away alone, WITHOUT FEAR!
And seldom tell of the things he did,
When he was with us here!
For fifty years he tried to make
Some little corner bright!
And he helped [...]

While he pondered, NEARLY NAPPING,
SUDDENLY he heard a tapping-
Like a “B” girl lightly rapping-
Rapping on his chamber door-
While the moonlight climbed the curtain-
‘Tis the wind…. and nothing more!
Long into that darkness peering-
Ohh what was it he was fearing?
While he dreamed the dreams, no Mortal
Ever DARED to dream before!
So it was to still the beating
Of his [...]

L ingering in the corner,
of this desolate night.
Mindful of the darkness,
as my eyes lose their sight.
Clouds cover and storm is near.
Passion is high as my heart fears.
Anticipating.
In my mind debating.
Wondering if it may be,
if in me he will see,
what words cannot declare.
Pacing and tracing the lines
to his heart.
In his eyes I will fall,
let go [...]
