CAMP HAPPY
It was many and many
seasons ago
at a summer camp
by the name of Happy.
There was a beautiful young counselor there
by the name of Merry.
She was a child
and I was a child,
counselors
to children less fortunate than we
to children with less possessions than we.
We fell in love
with blessings from above
me and my beautiful Merry.
We married quite young

On rugged mountain roads we drove,
And over shaky bridges,
Through valleys deep and rivers wide,
And over dangerous ridges.
We forded rivers, climbed the slopes,
Through tunnels we did crawl,
We drove on through the rough terrain,
And really had a ball.
Adventurers are what we were,
And danger was the game,
And ever since those wilder days,
I’ve never been the same.

When God created
Land, sea and sky
Something was missing,
So that is why
He created marriage
To allow man and bride
To create
Their own children
And enjoy them
With pride.
Lauren and Kevin
Created their first child
Riley Terese
Who’ll need
loving care and devotion
For quite a while.

Will cement Mom and Dad’s

once made of gold.

Does anything in this earth, ever perish?
And disappear into nothingness and void?
A leaf, a life, a flower, a song, a rainbow!
A tree, a leaf, or a flower, when it withers
The good earth receives it with pleasure.
It dissolves with the mud, in its source.
The roots take away the substances,
And bring them back to life.
