The pheasants are starving in
four foot af snow!
With Northerners blowing, at
twenty below!
Out there in the Soil Bank, wher
snowdrifts are deep.
The pheasants are lying, for-
ever to sleep!
The news came from Washington,
right from the wire-
“Feed-the-poor-pheasants!” like
a prairie on fire!

Rockin’ rhythms, ever livin’
Beat is poundin’, always givin’

If Once in a lifetime
Love comes your way
Grab it and hold it
Don’t let it get away.
Cherish it and nurture it
Encourage it to grow
Gather it’s seeds
And keep them to sow.
Scatter them wisely
Give some to friends,
