In the “Long Room” my fiddle lays-
Sleeping the hours away-
And no one ever cares at all-
They are GLAD when I don’t play!
But I and my fiddle don’t really care-
He sings for me alone-
When twilight falls across the west,
And we dream of the Old Lost Home!
Swannie River, and Moonlit Bay,
And…Jeannie With Light Brown Hair!

Felt the amber glow and warmth of the fireplace there
The magic of a youthful mind is so very scrumptious and delicious
A charming place things are really-real even if they are fictitious
