The Forbidden Fruit

By the halls of your heart,

To that right side, is found the plant
That bears the forbidden fruit.

But the thickest forests in the tropics
Have been braved,
Conquered just to find the key to those halls

The sweat that dripped
Mixed with the blood from the bush-wounds
Is my resolve’s elixir

The search may take a life time,
But the reward of that fruit
Is worth all time

Isn’t the goal of a man to be happy?
To find that ultimate goal
And remain glued for eternity?

So let the fruit be the end
And your heart be the that comfortable mansion
Inside of which I reach this end
